While taking classes in graphic design, I was hired by an independent designer, where I quickly put my skills to work in the fast-paced life of rush design and print jobs while still learning page layout and design software at a local print shop. By 2000, I landed an in-house design position at Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America, one of the premier consumer electronics companies in North America. Eleven years running and several promotions later I still serve in their marketing department, now responsible for branding, the Mitsubishi web site, tradeshow graphics, its print and web advertising and product photography.
